Remembering Pete Duel

Today in the mail, I received Laura's book, "Remembering Pete Duel" and I've been reading it all day and I love it! There are many interesting things in the book, especially rare photos of Pete and interviews with Ben Murphy, Roger Davis, Heather Menzies, Earl Holliman and Robert Pratt. I want to say thank you to Laura, Cherie and all Pete Duel fans for keeping his memory alive. It's sad Pete is no longer with us but we all know he's at peace with himself now and he's looking down at us, smiling.

Question To All Peter Duel Fans:

I truly believe that there were two Peter Duels. The "bad" Peter Duel murdered the "good" Peter Duel because Pete never wanted to die.

What do you think?

My Letter To Pete:

Peter, you will always be in my thoughts & heart. After watching you on “Alias Smith and Jones”, I fell in love and admire everything you did. Hearing your ecology record and your care for the environment has inspired me to start recycling and helping to make the planet a better place. I know life was hard for you & wasn’t being friendly to you. Life is never friendly to us no matter who we are. Wish you were still here with us. All of your friends, family, co-stars and fans miss you a lot.

Hope you are happy & have found peace wherever you are in the wonderful place they call heaven. You never judged anyone during your lifetime. You were always kind to the people you met over the time you were here. You taught and inspired people to start taking care of this wonderful planet we call home by recycling to keep the air and water clean from all kinds of debris that is hurting our planet. You were hurting on the inside but never let it show in any of your performances on television and movies. Even though you are not physically here, I believe that you are still here with us in some form or another. I believe that you’ re my guardian angel when times become rough in my lifetime. You left us too early but you finally came home on a cold winter’s night in December. A darkness came over the entire world when you left this earth after only thirty-one years of life. All of the people who miss you look up to see you are doing alright. Your smile always did, and still, brightens people’s day when it’s a rainy or bad day.

Love you for life, Peter - Ashley Cross, age 19, Washington, PA

Hey!

Hey, everyone! My name's Ashley and I just made this blog for my favorite actor, the late great Peter Duel who passed away on New Years' Day 1972 at the young age of 31. I truly believe his death was accidental and he never wanted to die. Please give me some time to update this blog because I get very busy!
